East Coast Combat Hapkido Academy

Chon-Tu Kwan Hapkido is an extremely realistic and versatile discipline of self protection that includes an extensive variety of joint locks, low kicks, strikes, take downs, pressure point manipulation, ground grappling, and disarming techniques. The result is a comprehensive Self Defence system that is enjoyable to learn, safe to practice and most of all highly effective. There are no tournaments/competitions to worry about - you just work and grow.

You are invited to come and train with Chief Instructor and Hall of Fame Inductee, Mike Fournier CD, in Canada's first Chon-Tu Kwan Hapkido School (Charter 120296), established in 1997. Mike is a 4th Dan in Combat Hapkido and has been involved in combative arts since 1969. As a former criminal law instructor Mike teaches students about their rights to self-defence under the law and what constitutes excessive force. Classes generally involve his patented "what-if" scenario training.

Programs & Class Schedule

We accept students for our adult program (13 years old and up).

There are three adult weekly classes.

Tuesday: 12 pm - 1:30 pm and 8 pm - 9:30 pm
Thursday: 12 pm - 1:30 pm and 8 pm - 9:30 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 11:30 am

There is no youth program at this time. Normally, youth Hapkido is taught to students 7 years old to 12 years old.
