Reviews of Elora Gorge Karate Dojo

I highly recommend this dojo. They are teaching age appropriate karate by belt level.

NOT an all belt class like where our kids trained before. The instructors have recently trained in Okinawa, Japan and I feel this really adds to the quality of the training.

One of the major factors for us in deciding to enroll our kids here was the fact they are the only dojo in the area who own their own space. Our children found that the previous dojo moving from one rental space to the next very disruptive.

We also like the fact that there are very often two or more black belts teaching in the class.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the fundraiser for Michael on Saturday. It was a successfull day, raising a little over $1,000 towards the trip to Japan. We really appreciate the support...then again, it is not surprising considering how great everyone at our Dojo has been over all the years Michael has been studying there! Couldn't have found a better place for him to train...Gorge Karate Dojo is the best!!!!

No offence to the previous review, but you obviously have commented against the wrong dojo! The instructors here are very much in charge and the quality of the training is fantastic.

If you are thinking about trying karate I highly recommend this dojo and the first two week are free of charge.

We loved the look of this place, the building is really beautiful. The instruction is inconsistent and it's not really clear who is in charge most of the time. We pulled our kids out after a year of training due to the lack of focused instruction and discipline. It's pretty overpriced compared to other local schools.
