Trained at this dojo for a few years. Good physical training but that's about where it ends. Lots of slogans like 'Attitude is Everything'. They promote the virtue of gratitude (from student to dojo) but show very little gratitude (from dojo to student) in return because everything here has a price (high) and if you aren't paying regularly, they loose interest in you - quickly.
Dojo is run like a clique bordering on a cult. Did you get to see the head instructor? Lucky you! Did he actually teach your class? Wow, what a special treat. Did you get to actually talk to him? I bet it made your day. Don't ask him any sensitive questions or you'll risk pissing him off - and you don't want to see him mad. Did you get the lecture yet on how lucky you are to have him as your sensei and why his seminars are worth the sky high prices? Don't worry, you will.
By all means, stop by and have a look but my advice is for you to keep looking.
