Team SKS Martial Arts is the finest school in the area dedicated to making your martial arts experience enjoyable and satisfying. Our instructors are the best. They have studied and trained for years to qualify as part of Team SKS and their primary goal is to assist you in being the best you can be.

Our carefully structured programs go far beyond punching, blocking and kicking. We will help you acquire effective self-defence skills and provide you with a comprehensive personal development program. It is our goal to raise the quality of life for all our students in every way possible.

Although we honour martial arts traditions that go back centuries, we are dynamic and are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to enthuse and excite our students.

At our Academy we also host various activities and events for everyone's convenience and enjoyment. We have parties for all major holidays, sleepovers, day camps on school P.A days, an annual Anniversary with Academy Awards and many more exciting events. We also offer Birthday Parties filled with exciting martial arts games and a black belt instructor ready to teach awesome techniques to all our birthday guests.

We pledge to make each student's journey as fun, exciting and educating as possible. We monitor progress closely and walk with students every step of the way. We believe that being a martial artist is not just learning to kick and punch, it is about becoming the best that you can be in every way.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Sealy Karate Schools:

Programs & Class Schedule

Regular Beginner Program
This program is for ages 6 & up, as kids learn to progress through the ranks of martial arts. Students attend two classes per week and have six days to choose from. You do not need to commit to specific classes each week because we make sure we teach the same lessons each week, ensuring that no one will miss anything no matter when they attend class. Regular progress is important to keep students interested and our program is structured so everyone can always see when their next stripe and belt is expected. We offer extra help to those who may be at risk of missing a goal date due to missed classes or whatever the reason may be. With six stripes between each belt, beginner students can expect to grade every 3-4 weeks for their next stripe and 3-5 months for a new belt. (Note: we do not charge extra for belt or stripe gradings). This means a beginner student could reach the rank of Black Belt in just 3-5 years!

Family Classes
Parents can take advantage of the opportunity to work on their fitness along side their kids instead of just sitting and watching, waiting for them to be done. Not enough time is usually the reason most parents neglect their own fitness.

Junior Program
This program is for students around 5 years old and is designed to prepare students for our regular program. It includes a series of fun drills and exercises that will develop balance, coordination, as well as increasing focus and self-discipline. Students are rewarded with a stripe every month once they have participated in the monthly curriculum.

Intermediate and Advanced Programs
Students get a chance to learn martial arts weapons and advanced techniques. They can join our demonstration team and appear at local events, as well as our competition team if they would like to explore tournaments, both in and out of school. Students also learn leadership lessons and are encouraged to strive to become instructors as well!
