this is the self proclaimed "taoist" tai chi version. Although the real Daoist tai chi has never been taught in an organised group. The real daoist thing is more like a qigong plus specific internal energy techniques. . Nobody in Vancouver really knows it well enough to teach unless they fake it. . This group has no proper body alignment. . and no real lineage, unlike those schools who teach worldwide recognized Yang, Chen and other traditional styles of tai chi. As for the taoist thing-sorry to disappoint you, but you have to go to China or find a rare old personal Master in order to study the real thing. However the real traditional tai chi is available pretty much everywhere including Vancouver -Yang Style, Chen style, Sun Style, Wu style etc. This tells you something. If you are looking for a classic traditional Tai chi -stay away from this school !!
Google it up and find the real school or if you can't find one near you, buy instructional DVDs from any certified instructor from abroad there are plenty of them.
