Woodbridge TKD was founded in 1982 by Grand Master J. Cariati, IX Dan with just a handful of students. It was the first school in the City of Vaughan to teach martial arts. Since then, due to his passion and dedication to martial arts, the school has grown to the largest club in Vaughan, and now offers a variety of classes for all ages and interests.
Grand Master Cariati is a 9th degree black belt who has been training since 1972. He traveled the world with the late General Choi, the founder of taekwon-do to gain greater insight, knowledge and understanding of this martial art.
