Aikido Takayama Society

Aikido Takayama is a non-profit dojo under the direction of Birankai International (founded by T.K. Chiba, Shihan). We offer classes to children ages 8-16 and adults of all ages. Both aikido weapons and body arts are taught, as well as Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido (to approved students).

Charles Aarons, Technical Director, 5th dan, shidoin; Norine Longmire, Chief Instructor 4th dan, fuku shidoin; Mark Goudsblom 2nd Dan Assitant Instructor at Aikido Takayama lead 2 children/youth classes a week and up to 6 adult classes.

Adult Classes
7 pm-8:15 pm Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
8:00 AM Saturda
Sunday 8-10 am


Children/youth program $180/3 months. 1st session includes uniform and white belt
Adult 3 month introductory promotion $99 (2 classes a week only) . After that $85/month or $200/3 mths
