The Algoma Kendo Club is dedicated to the traditional training of Kendo and Iaido - the Way of the Sword. Kendo and Iaido are sword based martials art practiced by the Samurai of ancient Japan.
The Algoma Kendo Club is affiliated with the Canadian Kendo Federation and is overseen by a godan sensei who is an executive of the CKF and former member of Team Canada.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Algoma Kendo Club:
Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 8:15 until 9:45.
New members can borrow club weapons for class use.
