Arashi Do Martial Arts started as a small Shotokan Karate school in Rocky Mountain House, AB. From that solid foundation, Gary Vig, Mike Bonde, Chris Bonde and Mike Yackulic have expanded throughout Alberta into a multi-discipline freestyle school, but have retained the ideals that got them started in Martial Arts more than 25 years ago: Determination, Relentless Spirit, Commitment, Service, and Athleticism!

The ultimate goal of the founders of Arashi-Do Karate was to have a family of skilled martial artists that believe in the mission of Arashi-Do and will strive to not only uphold its beliefs but continue to expand and grow the organization into the future. The benefits of Martial Arts training are immeasurable. Arashi-Do is proud of its accomplishments but is far more proud of the people we have helped to become the great representatives they are today. Arashi Do Penhold is proud to offer both Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu a spart of it's curriculum.
