Our philosophy is to always keep sight of the fact that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a self defense art. We strive to preserve traditional principles and techniques, while embracing new concepts and ideas. Our program is open to all people. Since we emphasize proper technical execution, understanding leverage and timing means that participants do not have to be strong or fast or athletic to learn jiu jitsu. Our atmosphere here is laid back and welcoming and we pride ourselves on helping new students and making everyone comfortable in an environment that fosters learning.
