I moved here from France 3 years ago. Sensei Mendoza is the only instructor in the Province that is qualified to teach WKF Karate and he is an amazing instructor. His classes are very dynamic and he teaches traditional Shito Ryu Japanese Karate and Sport Karate.

I went to twonother dojo's before I came here and they can't even compare. It's like comparing kindergarten to university. He makes sure all his instructors are highly skilled and certified, everything about the program is great. What I like is that there is something for everyone. There are a lot of teens who like to train to compete but also a a lot of us older adults who just want a professional and authentic

Karate program. The club is affiliated with all the provincial

And national organizations which is a

Bonus.

The facility is very nice with all the bells and whistles and lots of equipment to use in between classes and during. Great staff too.

Would never train with anyone else, Sensei Mendoza is the best.

We have been taking our kids here for over 2 years. Sensei Mendoza is the best karate instructor in Winnipeg. He is a trained teacher, and it shows in his instruction. He does not allow his instructors to teach just because they are black belts. He is a great role model for the students and his instructors and staff provide a very welcoming environment. In the 2 years since we signed up, our kids have showed improved confidence, focus, and fitness, and love being a part of the atmosphere here.

The facility is beautiful, brand new with more equipment than any of the other dojo's we visited before signing up. We would never consider another instructor or karate school.

The best in Winnipeg!

This is the only Karate school in the city that has this kind of training. They do traditional Karate and Sport karate, so you or your kids can get whatever you are looking for when you train. They have an amazing group of instructors, the head instructor, Sensei Mendoza, trains his instructors for years before they can teach and it shows. Our kids have been there for almost 3 years and they have built up confidence that they can accomplish all their goals. Very warm, friendly and inviting. The new facility is amazing with the best equipment I have seen for karate.

I have been with Bushido-Kai Canada, under Sensei Angelo Mendoza, for 8+ years now. I started when I was 12 years old in the Mini U Karate Plus camp. Bushido-Kai offers the best quality instruction to the students, and is a great place to let your child practice a timeless art and skill in a safe and fun environment. Being part of Karate Manitoba, affiliated with Shito-Ryu Seiko-kai, and having the head instructor (Angelo Mendoza) as the head instructor for the Karate Manitoba Provincial Team, there are many opportunities for anyone and everyone who joins Bushido-Kai! Bushido-Kai is also home to the Karate National Silver Medallist Brittney Katchin, and most of the provincial team! I love how diverse the dojo is in ethnicity, age, and overall skill level. Bushido-Kai offers many programs - that have exploded with popularity over the years, such as a Tiger Tots class (ages 4-6), Karate Kidz (ages 6-13), as well as Teen and Adult Training (ages 14+). Aside from the classes Bushido-Kai offers summer camps, and birthday parties! Overall, I have had and will continue to have an amazing experience with Bushido-Kai Canada building up confidence, learning an exciting martial art, and training to win at nationals! I encourage anyone who is looking for an exciting opportunity to learn something new, get in shape, meet new people, have fun, compete in tournaments, and/or learn defense skills to contact Bushido-Kai, or visit their website (www.bushido-kai.ca)!
