Welcome to the Calgary Martial Club, a tightly knit community crafted to nurture individual growth within one’s martial arts journey. United by the practice of Wing Chun (Ving Tsun) kung fu, we forge connections, cultivate a supportive environment, and advance our martial skills together. In this close-knit collective, our shared passion is the driving force that propels us forward.
We welcome all adults with a passion for martial arts, regardless of their background. Our club embodies an inclusive training philosophy reminiscent of an old-school Hong Kong era, fostering an environment where individuals of varying skills will train side by side. This offers a unique opportunity to interact with diverse expertise and to thrive in an informal yet guided learning atmosphere under the attentive eye of our instructor, Sifu Yuen Ly. Anticipate immersive hands-on training, personalized direction from an experienced teacher, and an environment that encourages questions.

Programs & Class Schedule
Join us at the Winston Heights Mountview Community Association every Tuesday evening from 7 PM to 10 PM. Find us in the West Hall facing the large parking lot.
Calgary Martial Club embraces an inclusive training approach reminiscent of the old Hong Kong days, where individuals engage together irrespective of their skill levels. This provides a chance to engage with diverse skill sets and offers an informal yet guided learning environment under the instructor’s supervision.
Nurturing a family-like structure, the club upholds the adage that it truly takes a village to raise an individual. Our training approach thrives on interactivity and partnership, providing you with face-to-face learning experiences that naturally foster the formation of new, meaningful friendships. Please note that at this time, we are only open to adults aged 18 and above.
