East Sooke Go Ju
East Sooke Go Ju Ryu was founded in 1989 by Sen Sei Al Aderichin. Sen Sei Adericin was trained by Sen Sei Tony Chang originally from Ontario. The club was turned over to Armin Sielopp in 2004. Armin Sielopp is the chief instructor along with assistant instructors Sen Sei George May and Sensei Tessa Peers.
We also have a Shotokan Sen Sei, SenSei Gareth Gilson. We are members of Karate B.C. and are supported by the J.D.F. Parks and Recreation program.

Programs & Class Schedule
Children's classes are held on Tuesday nights from 6 pm. to 7 pm. We have students from five years of age to 12.
Adult class is Tuesday at 7 pm to 8.30 pm. No contracts, just monthly dues basis.
We hold a Monday night mixed class ( adults and children ) at the Shirley Community in Shirley.
Our belt progressions are ; white, yellow, orange, green, blue, brown, black.
