The Edmonton Heavy Fencing Club provides both beginner level as well as advanced levels of instruction and coaching in the growing sport of HEMA. The sport is similar to Kendo but it is done with full steel fencing feders and uses the concepts stemming from fifteenth century Germany. We would love to see you out to try this growing sport. It is rigorous , technical and a great full body work out.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Edmonton Heavy Fencing Club:
Beginners class is every Tuesday from 6:30 - 9:30
Students must be eighteen years of age
We offer three types of study, German Long Sword, Short Sword and Sword and Buckler
We encourage beginners to start with long sword as it is the easiest on the body.
