Frontline Academy is the group that better represent the BJJ life style of training hard at a very friendly and positive environment. Pedro Lott is the kind of Master that can inspire the students to give their best and make them feel part of a big family, he has the knowledge and the charisma to make Frontline one of the best Bjj teams in Canada.
I have visited a few gyms in Edmonton and in other places and there are good ones and bad ones. Frontline is by far the cleanest, with exceptional instruction, well balanced structured classes between cardio and warm up drills with grappling technique. Staff, students and instructors are friendly, helpful, and welcoming and great at making you feel comfortable regardless of your experience. I joined the next day. The drills were not so exhausting that you are wiped out before learning any techniques however you do go home feeling you got an exceptional workout.
