Welcome to Kageyama Dojo. We offer training in the ancient Japanese martial arts of the Bujinkan, Budo and Ninpo Taijutsu. Experience a 900 year-old Traditional Martial Art in the heart of Barrie. The purpose of Kageyama Dojo is to offer access to those who are interested in quality training in the Warrior Traditions of the Bujinkan in a traditional setting.
This system of self-protection incorporates striking, kicking and blocking methods, grappling, chokes and escapes, also rolling, leaping, tumbling and silent movement. Also included are weapon skills, physical conditioning skills, meditation & visualization techniques and breathing exercises.
Gregory Tremblay Shihan started his martial arts career in 1972 and started training in the Bujinkan in 1982. Tremblay Shihan continues to teach regularly and is ever present at the dojo. In November 2013 Tremblay Shihan recieved the 15th Dan rank directly from Hatsumi Soke. He looks forward to his twice yearly visits to Japan for more personalized training with his teachers.
