West Island Karate ® and Karaté de L'Île are martial arts schools located in One of the most experienced full time Karate dojos in the region with dojos in Beaconsfield and Île-Perrot, respectively, on the West Island of Montreal, (also serving Pincourt, Kirkland, Pierrefonds, Pointe-Claire and Dollard-des-Ormeaux). The dojo (school) was founded by Sensei John Kalaidopoulos (4th Dan) in 1997. Kyokushin Karate taught traditionally in a disciplined and respectful manner in a challenging environment with an emphasis on technique, physical fitness and self defense which is inherent to karate.

Programs & Class Schedule

Age specific as well as experience specific for children, teens and adults of all backgrounds and capabilities. Beginner, intermediate and advanced belt classes offered so that students will always be stimulated and challenged. In some cases classes are offered up to 5 times per week and it is recommended to train 2 x per week at minimum in order to build and move forward in ones development.
