My son has only been going for a few weeks and has already learned so much. Time is given for each student to have one on one time. It is wonderful to watch the more experienced students help the newer ones. Just such a great positive place to learn.

My daughter and son have been training with Sensei Bryce Johnson and Sensei Jay Crawford for several sessions. They absolutely love the class and have also taken the summer samurai school. Karate for Kids is a not-for-profit organization and enables children and adults to practice the ancient art of Shorin-Ryu Karate. They also have the chance to practice the Samurai sword. 5 stars from my family!

We enjoy Saturday morning Karate classes in Beaverton. The Sensei ' are fair yet firm and give one to one time when needed. In the summer our son was able to transition into Samurai School in Lindsay on Wednesday nights which was perfect for our busy summer schedule. The summer school location was large, clean and air conditioned. Classes don't just include the how's of Karate, they also include the whys. The experienced Sensei share personal stories that the students can relate to. Often the history of Karate and the Okinawan people are shared. We learn something each class. Lessons focus on building confidence and self esteem. We've seen a positive difference in our sons anxiety since starting a little over a year ago. We can see his ability to defend himself or others with his words and attitude in the case of bullying.

My son wanted to take Karate lessons and we found this school in Lindsay. My son was quite shy at first but in minutes had been welcomed into class and was learning Karate! The instructors are very nice and knowledgeable. The class is well organized and parents are welcome to stay and watch. The class is very affordable (only $95 for 8 weeks) and they also offer discounts for additional family members. My son loves it!
