Efficient for socializing your child but needs to be less commercial.

Karate Sportif is a fun venue for a student to learn martial arts after school in a positive group -oriented environment. . In spite of this, the instruction remains very superficial in general, in terms of bringing real change to a students life, as their philosophy so dictates. The emphasis is becoming increasingly on the commercialisation of the chain, augmenting their revenue and less on the original founding philosophy in 1992 :- teaching (aswell as katas, ) common sense core values like : discipline, positivism, and controle of anger. The instructors also need to believe in what they are teaching and avoid going through their classes robotically, as this does create a tension in the class and denial of the individual needs of the student. If they are able to do this, Karate Sportif could have a huge impact on a students' life other than just being an expensive "fun" activity. Attention also needs to be paid to their aging equipment, some of which is very used.
