To many of those who have trained with Matthew, it is clear that the influence he exerts is far beyond a break of sweat or learning how to punch, but rather a radical shift of self-image; a new space through which lack of confidence can find a new anchor to materialize, and repressed violent anger is shocked with humbling discipline. His unique leadership qualities have the power to transform and deeply inspire with new understanding, while still bringing about a great level of entertainment.
