Nomadic Martial Arts
“Grassroots Taekwondo”: Affordable Martial Arts for the Community
Nomadic Martial Arts was founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Sean Little and Samantha Shaman. It is the mission of Nomadic Martial Arts to make affordable Taekwondo and martial arts training accessible to as many members of the Elmwood and Winnipeg community as possible. Nomadic Martial Arts has been providing affordable community-based and family-centered Taekwondo programming out of the Chalmers Community Centre since September of 2015 and the program has grown to comprise over fifty students and operates with the endorsement of Master Frederick Natividad of Northwest Martial Arts. Furthermore, it is also the mandate of Nomadic Martial Arts to act as a community role model in the pursuit of social justice through fundraising and charitable community involvement.
