I have tried Brazilian jiu-jitsu, krav maga and muay thai at OAMA (Renzo Gracie). I love the instructors. They are friendly and have real life experience as bouncers, pro MMA athletes, etc. The students are welcoming too. I was a bit nervous on my first day but I felt comfortable right away and tried more and more different classes. I wish I could go every day. I studied karate before and regret not trying krav/jiu-jitsu sooner. You really need to know how to ground and pound and what to do if somebody is right in your personal space. .. not just kicking from far away.
