Seishin Karate has been serving the West Island Karate community for over 20 years. Our motto: Power & Passion, speaks to a teaching of the traditional Japanese style of Kyokushin karate. Seishin Karate’s credo is that through hard work, discipline and perseverance along with full-contact, controlled sparring, students develop core strength, self-confidence and the ability to confront and work through obstacles of everyday life.
Classes are mentally and physically challenging with students training to the best of their abilities. Student ages range from 5 to 65 years old and come from every type of socio-economic background.
Throughout the years over 1,000 students have passed through the doors of Seishin Karate for various reasons; often to gain an understanding of self defence, increase their ability to concentrate and get a great workout. Students stay because Kyokushin karate becomes a passion and an integral, defining part of their lifestyle.
