If you want your child to become a black belt this is the school for you. Never see the head instructor unless
It's a grading. Classes taught by teens who have no idea what they're doing. Wall full of pictures of students who have received their black belt, before their early teens. My son was repeatedly graded and given higher belts and had yet to understand the requirements of his white belt. Even after I told the instructor that he wasn't ready for grading he was still instructed to do so. I wonder if it had anything to do with the grading fee?

i wanted to respond as my child was at Sidekicks for over 5 years and i had seen the above review and how negative it was. we had the opposite experience. we found the training atmosphere to be a positive experience. This school was voted the number 1 martial arts school in the city for almost 15 year running. i believe i know the reason why. The parent above complaining that their child was 'pushed through' even though they didnt know their requirements would be the same to complain if they child was failed. As for the head instructor, i have seem him there teaching the black belt s numerous times. Why would you expect to see a master level instructor teaching beginner classes?
