South Calgary Wado Kai Karate
The South Calgary Wado Kai Karate Club was started in September 1994 by Sensei Heather Fidyk and Sensei Darren Fidyk. Initially the club began with 35 keen students, the club has grown to over 250 youth and adult students under the instruction of the black belts. The South Calgary Wado Kai Karate Club is a non-profit organization committed to the improvement of the health, fitness and martial arts understanding. The club services the Southern Calgary communities through classes, workshops, and tournaments. The club is a member of the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation and Karate Alberta.
