My friend and I attended Fitness Workout, which wasn't a martial arts class. It was a strength training class with weights, yoga balls, etc. I really liked the instructor and the class was fun.

This is more than just your typical martial arts school. The senseis are very knowledgeable and work you hard to succeed. They are open minded, humble and constantly strive to improve themselves. In short, they are perfect role models. They are always happy to help you even after class.

Besides learning Karate, your body will be cross trained with TRX, kettle bells, weighted clubs, and free weights. Each movement is designed to strengthen your core, and enhance your techniques. Your fitness level will increase exponentially. Friday night and Saturday classes are especially challenging. I have never worked harder for a class, and never seen my fitness increase so quickly before Stronger You.

To assure you reach your optimal level the dojo also offers free lessons on nutrition. This is a holistic school for martial arts, the model all others should follow.

You are not just a student here, you are family.

What makes a great martial arts school: a head instructor who constantly brings new learning to the students; students who genuninely want to help each other learn - regardless how challenged; owners and students who are recognized by the community for their contributions; and black belts who stay on long, long past their first degree.

Stronger You is more than just an excellent place to learn martial arts and self-defense. Stronger You is a family, where you will be welcomed and accepted. There is an incredibly strong sense of community and belonging, where everyone is treated with respect, and everyone is expected to be their best. You will find yourself challenged to do more than you thought possible, and given the training, support and encouragement to succeed.

Not enough can be said about this school. The instructors are not only qualified but they never stop learning. They travel the world increasing their knowledge when ever possible. They are open to suggestions and have brought many guest instructors in to increase everyone's knowledge.

I also have never seen a school that will tailor their courses to any special needs that are presented. They are equipped for instructions whether you are in a wheel chair, you have sight or hearing issues, autism, ADD.........actually Just about anything.

The owners are also present in quite a few schools around the area teaching student self defence.

From the moment our 6 year old son walked into the dojo, we were treated like family. Our son loves going to Stronger You up to four times a week! They provide great instruction and the tuition rates are quite reasonable.
