Sturgeon Kendo Club
Sturgeon Kendo Club teaches the traditional Japanese martial art of Kendo: the way of the sword. Our instructors Jason Stelck, Nadia Leenders, and Shion Miyashita are experienced and well travelled Kendoka, having all competed internationally, under Sensei Stephanie Bozzer. Our club is governed by the Canadian Kendo Federation (CKF) under the International Kendo Federation (FIK). Our dojo is listed on the CKF website, and our ranks are recognized internationally. Programs & Class Schedule
We offer a kids program (ages 6-12) on Saturdays from 10 am - 11 am. Our Junior and Adult beginners programs have intakes throughout the months of September, January, and May, and run Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 - 9:30 pm and Saturdays 10 am - 12 pm. Our advanced class runs Mondays and Wednesdays 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm, and Saturdays 10 am - 12 pm. Our calendar and class descriptions can be viewed at sturgeonkendo.com.
