Both of my children are learning tae kwon do at Summit Martial Arts. We have been involved since September 2016. During this time, we have really enjoyed being part of the Summit family. Mrs. Morris, Master Morris and all of the instructors, take the time to get to know students and address them all by name. Students are all treated equally, fairly and with respect.

Summit teaches students the value of hard work, practice and dedication. For each skill set that is mastered, students are awarded a stripe on their belt. Once they have earned the required number of stripes, and have attended the minimum prerequisite number of classes, they are invited to test for the next belt. Students quickly learn that being invited to test for a promotion is a privilege, and you have to earn it. The Summit team has high standards and runs a good quality martial arts program.

I am genuinely impressed with the way that Master Morris, and all of the instructors, take the time to explain concepts to students at an age appropriate level. Instructors encourage, coach and mentor students inside the gym; but also teach them how to apply the 5 tenets of tae kwon do (courtesy, integrity, perseverance, set control and indomitable spirit) to their everyday lives.

Master and Mrs. Morris have been very supportive of my sons inside and outside of the dojang. They are approachable and easy to talk to. We have gotten to know the Morris family quite well over the years, and I would happily recommend Summit Martial Arts to anyone looking to learn tae kwon do.

The cost of classes is quite reasonable, when compared to other activities. I have taken into consideration that tae kwon do is twice a week, and students are learning so much more than just a sport. In addition, the class schedule is flexible, allowing students to attend the most convenient classes.

Training With Master Morris is an honor. His skills and his love of the martial arts is shown in every class. Anyone can train and reach their full potential reguardless of age or ability. He has very high expectations of students and recieving a belt from him you know you have earned it and will cherish it forever. Every class is different, never repeating, never boring. I highly recommend this school.

Amazing Instructor - extremely knowledgeable and active with the kids. Takes the time to explain why he is teaching a certain move, shows kids the proper way to tie their belt and does the push ups with them!
