Took Money Even after being told Student would not be attending

The owner has a poor attitude towards females in his class; on numerous occasions he has said, "you're not girls, you're kickboxers, " among other remarks. I have never like his attitude but continued to allow my daughter to go because she had a couple people she had good relationships with.
Money was tight and my daughter was not attending class so we asked for a suspension of the monthly payments which the owner's partner agreed to do for us. Well, the payment came out anyway. The owner explained that they needed 30 days to suspend payment but the person who took the call didn't know that. We asked for refund of the payment, owner refused but said the payment would be suspended for two months.
Our daughter was thinking about coming back in July but was unsure because her eyes were opening to his poor attitude and of injuries caused by being struck by a car. I informed the owner that she would not be around in June but I would let him know about July. He said the payment would be suspended for June and July (the May payment would count towards July).
In June, the payment came out again. When I called and calmly tried to explain my situation the owner became belligerent. He refused to refund the money for the June payment even though he knew my daughter was not coming to the "dojo" in June.
Sure, I should have put a stop payment even after I asked for a suspension, but properly run businesses should be trustworthy and honorable enough to take care of their customers when they make a mistake.
