Street self defence method based on Russian Special Forces, Spetsnaz training.
Learn to defend yourself from any attack (grab, hold, punch, kick, weapon) and from any position (standing, seated or on the ground).
Train on all surfaces: indoors on hard floors or mats, and outdoors on grass, cement, gravel, etc.
Apply special breathing techniques and conditioning to make yourself combat-ready.
-Open to anyone 16 years and older.
Instructor certified by Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Systema Winnipeg Russian Martial Art:
Classes are mixed: there are no advanced or beginner classes. Training is open to anyone 16 years and older. Classes are fun, friendly and highly productive.
During the winter and spring, we train Sundays from 10:30am to 12:30pm, and Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The address is Glenwood Community Centre, 27 Overton Street (just off St. Mary's Road by the Gondola Pizza).
Summer training is possible at the Duck Pond of St. Vital Park, any day from 7 pm to dark.
