Don't do it, it not a dojang, it's a money grab.

Any comment that had a positive tone to it here is from an employee and they have been to meeting where they are told do write a report. This dojang is all about the cash. They care for nothing else but that. They might lure you in but it is all to do with a "what can this person or family do for me" vibe to it. There is a reason that there are not a lot of adults in the classes as they see the cult that it is and the Master Wiz worshipping for what it is. Don't drink the Kool Aid and find a place that wants you and not your money. I've seen long time employees and or long time students leave and the staff and instructors couldn't care less. It's horrible how they treat people. Horrible, horrible place. This place is centered around the greed of its head instructor, who couldn't be bothered to teach, it's below him. It's not run on Integrety as it should be but Greed.

Great place but a money grab

I first started tien lung when I was 5 years old in the daily dragons program. I then stayed in this program for the next 7-8 years of my life working for my black belt. When I needed to leave the place because my father became extremely ill. We had to cancel to save money to pay off his medical fees. However the cancellation fee was very high and put us farther into debt than we started. It is a great place but they really just want your money so I would suggest choosing wisely.

Excellent Instructions & Engagement

Mr. Santos is very engaging and truly engages the students at Tien Lung. Our youngest went from weekly notes from school around focus and respect to the school signing her exam booklet for excellence in respect. I have found all the instructors very approachable and have the students best interest in mind. They always assume positive intent and engage with the students in a positive manner. I would highly recommend anyone to go join the intro 2 month membership.

They destroyed my credit. Took me to court. Laughed at me and called me a liar. Said that kids have never clean bathrooms barehanded and the place never smelled like raw sewage though they even had signs posted about it. The contracts are not what they appear to be. Have a lawyer look over it before you sign anything at the school. There is in adequate instruction in adequate facilities and very incompetent staff dealing with the financial matters of this place. The judge states someday someone will get them for their contracts and the conduct of practice but laws are laws and they are very good at making sure they cover themselves. If anyone needs a witness for court at any time to go against these evil people please feel free to post on here. I will be checking. Likely this review will be erased like all the other bad reviews that were on here but no matter as I have taken pictures of my own review and I have printed off all the bad reviews that have somehow magically disappeared right before my court date

The instructors are very knowledgeable and caring about your progress. The dojang is very family oriented with classes for all ages. I'm proud to have a Tien Lung black belt because of all the accomplishments i have completed with the club. Overall, this is an amazing place to train and to have fun, I recommend it for all ages!

My children both started at age 2 in the Mini Dragons program and continue to love the training to this day after 7 and 3 years respectively. My husband and I both received our black belts at Tien Lung Taekwon-Do. Our entire family still trains as much as possible in many of the huge variety of programs offered. Both kids are in the after school program, us adults are in the evening program, and the three of us who are old enough are in the Fitness and Competitive Programs. There's an activity and involvement level for everyone in our family and we enjoy our family time spent training and staying fit and healthy together.

Tien Lung has been a great place for me and my children. We have been with them for a number of years and have enjoyed the experience, instruction and have had lots of fun. My children have earned their Black Belts. Both kids made great friends and respect for others was reinforced. Most important, they learned to respect themselves and that with hard work and dedication you can achieve a fantastic goal. Both my son and my daughter benefitted from the programs each in their own way. Watching them become more confident, fit and learn self-defence at the same time was very rewarding. The instructors and staff were very supportive and offered great guidance when I needed their help. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Tien Lung to anyone of any age. I have also trained with Tien Lung and found them quite accommodating to my aging body and the restrictions and limitations that have come up off an on.

P. S. Those complaining about the contract, take a look at the contracts for other fitness companies, cell phone companies, etc., etc.

I am a student at the north side I have been in it for 4 months and this is the best school the pleople at this schpop are really nice but it all comes with respect if you disobey or talk down to anyone thier obvious going to Control the only reason why the students and parents are making the comments about how bad this school is because thy don't understand how we teach the kids respect and disaple we grab the kids but we make sure there grab the apportie way so no one ever gets hurt. All my time. At this school made me a better person because befor I joined I was doing drugs and was not in a good place but they taught me that drugs are never the answer I now changed my life for the better

My friend and I have been going to Tien Lung for more than 10 years now. We have our Black Belts and the Instructors are some of the best Instructors in the world. We have been taught by world athletes. The owner of Tien Lung was trained by the founder of TaeKwonDo general choi. Tien lung is a great school to learn martial arts. They will push you but when you get your black belt you know that you have earned it

Tien Lung Taekwondo is an amazing school. The instructors are nice and even though they push you it helps you get better. I just became a black belt a few months ago but without them pushing me and telling me that I can do it I would never have had the attitude to keep going. I love the enthusiasm and care that the instructors put into their students. I will recommend this school to children and adults. You get fit. You have fun. And you make lots of friends.

A Fun Place for Tien Lung School

My son has been in the south side Tien Lung for over 4 years now. He is 7 years old now. He has had such a great improvement in his manners, and has learned so many things that he can carry with him for the rest of his life. It is such a great feeling as a parent to have your child excel and love what they are doing. I would recomend any boy or girl even adult to co.e in and join the Tien Lung team!!

Good businessman owns this school yes but....

Hello. I have heard it reviewed that due to the fact that this business owner is good at getting your business also happens to mean that he does care about his customers.

It totally disagree. My 7 year old is new to the school and we may or may not get the Black belt; however he has fun, they are professional and they quickly answer every question. The overall feeling I get when I'm at the school is that they care about my son's well-being.

... and I Trust my gut feelings whole-heartedly.

With good business also comes deductive reasoning and that business owner (and I have no idea who he is) is smart enough to know that if you don't hold your customers in the Highest regard along with your product and your integrity; you will not be in business long. True; I know nothing about Martial Arts but at my son's age I just want him to have fun and stay active.

Perhaps I'll re-evaluate my position later!

A comprehensive place for martial arts study.

I quality of the north side instructors is top-tier, with world class champions and competitors taking time to teach every student as best they can.

Several times I have struggled with some aspect or another in class and asked for a better explanation. Not once has my question gone unanswered or left unclear, many times I've learned a great deal as to why we do something as well as the how.

I will sometimes however find myself struggling to fit class into my schedule and would enjoy more classes available through-out the week.

Lastly not only do I feel properly trained to defend myself but have met very many people that have become long-lasting friends outside of the martial art.
