I’ll start with his Vimo video on his website, lies of a conman. He trained in Canada under a Canadian teacher for years. First Tai Kai the guy went to he was denied testing for 5 dan because he wasn’t a member of the Bujinkan in good standing, and still isn’t. Parts of the art he’s well versed in he’s good at, anything he doesn’t know is garbage and you don’t need to learn it. All of his original students have left washing their hands of the guy, and not a single one of his students other than his son have made it passed 2nd dan. This school screams McDojo and Orlando is a megalomaniac who only want’s in you’re wallet.

I have been training here for almost 20 years. Sensei Orlando is a great teacher and extremely skilled in ninpo. The dojo is beautiful and one of the best I have ever seen. Very traditional styling that makes you feel like you're in Japan. The people here are great, from the staff to the students, I have made many close friends here over the years. I highly recommend this school if you're looking for a strong supportive community. Everyone here is serious about their training and show up on a regular basis. This dojo doesn't suffer from the revolving door syndrome where every class there are new faces making it difficult to advance your training. There are many skilled students here which allows you to learn very quickly. Again, I highly recommend this school if you're serious about martial arts.

As a general rule of life, if you're being pushed into a contract in a school; run. This place is the manifestation of such a rule. Though the school is well equipped and polished, and the instructor has a good knowledge base he is clearly more interested in taking your disposable income than passing on the art. Not to say that he's necessarily bad at what he does (there is of course validity to his techniques) he's just trumping it up to be more than it is. Ninjutsu is composed of many different schools and the instructor is well versed in half of them (only knows long fist - has no clue of short fist). My issue is that he's selling it as a total package and locks people into contracts. The instructor, Orlando, spends a lot of time arrogantly dumping on other arts and even other branches of our art. I'm not a fan of this attitude - it's just unprofessional. I have plateaued at this school and tried to leave. I was threatened with a law suit, as my contract had not expired. If you decide to spend money here, be warned: make every effort to avoid contracts.
