I had a weird experience checking this place out

After I had stopped taking karate, I was looking to get into another type of martial arts. At the time, I worked in Kanata North, so I went to check out the nearest kung fu school. THe head instructor (guy with a tooth missing at the bottom) seemed alright at first, describing the warm up and cardio aspects of the classes. I was hoping to go only during lunch, and they offered lunchtime classes twice a week, but the price was (many years ago) $100 per month. That was too expensive, in my opinion, compared to other schools especially considering how few classes I'd be able to attend per month. The instructor tried to persuade me to join, saying that he could structure the payments different ways (different down payments combined with different monthly fees - but the total always ended up being $1200 per year). I balked at that, and he accused me of being a spy for my former karate instructor. I was quite creeped out that he became argumentative and a bully. Glad I didn't sign up!
