Our children have been part of Sensei Donna's dojo for over 10 years. The quality of instruction and sense of community is tremendous. The community of Rockwood is very lucky to have access to such instruction. It would be worth driving from Guelph to attend.

It is a great place to learn karate. Instructors are very nice and helpful. They know their craft and very good at teaching. They make it fun learning karate. I always look forward to going there and learning. Highly recommend!

My 12 year old son, now a second level brown belt, has been training with Rockwood JKA karate since he was 6. He has found a community that not only supports his karate training but teaches support for each other, fun through time spent together, healthy competition and a forever healthy welcoming space. Donna the sensei, is 200% his mentor.

We have been Members of this Dojo for over a year now and from day one we have felt like a member of the family! The instruction is excellent - conducive to learning, supportive and encouraging. There is good commradorie between all members particularly the higher belts. The Dojo participates in many extra events such as camps, tournaments and community activities. The focus of this Dojo is the spirit of karate!

Sensei Donna's cheerful demeanour makes it fun for kids and parents alike!

Instruction is done in a respectful, disciplined manner with an emphasis on empowering students of all ages to be courteous to all. Higher belts, regardless of age are given an opportunity to develop their leadership qualities and skills, leading to the practical application of important life skills, all the while increasing their physical strength and abilities in this martial art.

Friends recommended this dojo over a year ago and we've not been disappointed!
